Track Week 5

Fox says it's a light week, to go for a 2 mile run. If you've missed one of the previous weeks, you can make it up this week.

Is similar to the decompression weeks touted by Dr. Remedios? Does my body need this rest to recover, or can I do some extra running if I want?

The idea is that in order to continue making gains, you need an off week every 4 or so weeks. It can be something 'different' from what you normally do, but I wouldn't do anything too intense, different or not.
